Hii friends today I'm going to share some good habits that can boost up your metabolism.Do you frequently suffer from indigestion?Do you feel bloated all day long?How to make your digestive system stronger naturally?How to get rid of gas,constipation,acidity and other digestive problems.Our body energy level,longevity & state of mind and body completely depends upon how good is our metabolism.However,most of the people on a daily basis are knowing or unknowningly doing things which is completely damaging their digestive system.As a result gas,bloating,constipation,skin problems,indigestion & hairfall are the most common problems of today's generation.
In this article I have comprehensively discussed what should be do and don'ts to keep a good working digestive system.As we all know that digestion is the corner stone for a good and healthy life & most of the people faces digestion issues due to their lifestyle disorder.I'm going to share some good habits which will revive back your digestion and some bad habits which you should avoid for messing up your metabolism.
Let's start with worst habits which you should avoid if u want to fix your digestive system.
1. BATHING AFTER MEALS
Do you eat after coming from office and then take a shower or do you eat your breakfast before taking shower and move for work.If YES,then you are really messing up your digestion process.According to biology,when we eat something our body temperature rises in order to digest the food on the opposite note if we take cold shower,it decreases our body temperature making it difficult to digest the food.Similarly, drinking water immediately after meals is another reason for poor digestion.Over 90% of people drink water after having their meals which results in shutting off the digestion process due to which the food doesn't get digested properly.This food instead of providing nutrition and strength produces toxins in the body.In Auryveda,drinking water after a meal is like drinking poison.
So, make sure that you take shower befor eating meal and drink water at least 45min after having the meal.
2.WRONG FOOD COMBINATION
Most people in their daily life unknowningly conmbine food in such a way which not only slow downs the metabolism but, also produce toxins within the body.For example,milk or tea with salty foods,milk with fruits,tea after lunch or dinner.All these food combinationn aren't compatible with each other and seriously slows down digestion.If your are suffering from weak digestion you should avoid milk dalia,mango or banana milkshake & even saladspost sunset as these foods are hard for the body to digest.People who eats fast food on a regular basis you are seriously decreasing your digestive system life.Refined floor(maida),ajinomoto and other additives stick to the intestine creating problems to have a smooth bowel movement.Better you treat yourself with whole wheat pasta at home.Fresh seasonal fruits & raw vegetables will provide your body the much needed fiber to boost your digestion process.
3.PREPARATION OF MEALS FOR COMING DAYS
Our life has become so fasrpace in order to save time we prepare our meals for next 3-5 days or even for a week and then put it in the refrigerator.See we have to keep in mind every food has a life validity after which it begins to lose it's nutrition.You think chucking the meal tiffins into the refrigerator will keep the food fresh for a along time.But,it's not the case such food can create harmful toxins in your body.

Have you ever noticed when you get extremely anxious or worry your stomach gets lose.Also,the very proverb shitting in pants is linked to fear.This is because your state of mind is directly linked to functioning of digestive system.Our mind get's immensly relaxed after you empty your bowel.On the contrary,mind remains agitated if you can't empty your bowel.
This proves that state of mind is directly linked to digestion system.Stress has beome part of our modern life.Due to excessive use of social media,competitive life & academic stress.Just take a break be with yourself enjoy the nature that god has gifted.Exercise regularly sweat it out.I'm sure it help you a lot.
5.IRREGULAR MEAL TIMING
Another side effect of modern lifestyle that people have erractic meal timings.People who are working surely eat lunch on time but apart from lunch they hardly have any fix time for eating food.
When we do not eat on right time it disturbs our body bioclock which results in failure of secretion of digestive enzymes.If you want to keep your digestive system strong,then promise yourself that u will eat your meal on fixed timings.Also,it's not about WHAT WE EAT BUT HOW WE EAT .
Observe yourself how many times do you chew one bite of food.So many people hardly chew their bites and swallow after few chews.It is recommended to chew at least 32 times.So eat it slowly don't just gulp it.
Now,Let's start with good habits which you should include in your daily routine to improve your digestive system.
1.INCLUDE VARIETIES OF GRAINS IN YOUR DIET
If you want to keep your metabolism fired up.The number 1 thumb rule is keep changing the grains.Yes guys please do not just keep eating wheat in all three meals or do not just keep eating rice in all three meals.Bring variety to your plate their are so many option available serve yourself with besan chila at times.You can have moong dal dosa,oats,millets.Keep differents floors for making chapati this will not only give you variety of nutrients but souble,insoluble fibers and prebiotics which will ensure smooth functioning of your digestive system
2.DAILY DOSE OF PROBIOTICS
A weak digestive system is clear sign of lack of probiotics.Probiotics are the good bacteria which keep your digestive system stronger by controlling the growth of harmful bacteria.It is extremely important to have daily dose of probiotics in your diet.But do you need a supplement? Not at all so, stop falling for so called commercial probiotic drinks like YAKULT which have more of that unhealthy refined sugar than healthy probiotics.The best way to consume probiotics is have curd with teaspoon of jaggery mixed in it before breakfast.That's all you need to keep gut full of friendly bacteria.
3.DESI GHEE
If you do not have cow ghee in your diet you are bound to face problems like acidity,gas,indigestion at some point of your life.Ghee is rich in butyric acid which serves as a major source of energy for both the colon and the large intestine this organs play a vital role in the absorption of nutrients and the elimination of waste.Ghee keeps the food pipe lubricated and the intestine soft letting the smooth passage of waste.So no matter what is your fitness goal?You should hav 2-4 teaspoons of desi ghee in your daily diet.Apply it on chapati,bread over curries,rice etc.
4.QUALITY SLEEP
Have you ever noticed after waking up after deep slumber sleep you are already feeling pressure to relieve your bowels.A good night sleep is probably the most underrated way to keep your metabolism fired.Nowadays,most of the people compromise with their sleep to keep with daily affairs.You must understand that when your body sleeps your digestive system works with a enhanced speed.Quality sleep is important.If you are already suffering from digestive issues a deep sleep of 6-8 hours will give an opportunity to your digestive system heal itself.Also it is a great habit to sleep on the left side.It is an ideal position to prevent acid reflux and ensure proper digestion.
5.YOGA
Their are many ancient techniques to give instant boost to your digestive system.If you have a poor digestion chew a small piece of ginger with rock salt sprinkled on it before eating meals it will instantly ignite your digestive fire with full throttle.Right nostril breathing or suryabhedi pranayama is an amazing technique to give a sudden boost to your digestive system.If you practise it 9-10 times before meal it will be good enough.If you include a daily habit of eating fennels seeds after each meal you will rarely face any digestion problems keep them handy with yourself.Then are many asanas which increase blood flow in the core region of the gut which increase the bodies digestive ability.You can do them regularly on an empty stoamch.Vajrasana is the only asana which is recommended posts meals.So including these ancient techniques in your daily regime can make your digestive system very robust.
